| scallion | proper quantity | |
| sugar | 1 tsp | |
| soysource | 2 tsp | |
| soup stock, soysource soup, or water | 3/4 pint | |
| sweet sake | 1 1/2 tsp | |
| Preparations | ||
| rice | cook 2 cup of rice | |
| onion | cut into 0.2 to 0.3 inch thin | |
| egg | scramble them together | |
| scallion | cut into 1 to 2 inch long |
| How to cook | ||

put all the seasoning and onion into a pan. after onion became tender a little bit, add chicken and heat with strong fire for a while | |

put 3/4 of eggs and heat it with low flame | |

cover the pan and leave it until the egg sets | |

put the rest egg and scallion and heat them for a while. Done! |

| Why Oyako
Don?
Oyako means family in Japanese. The reason why we call this food "Oyako Don" is that there are Chicken(parent) and egg(child). It's kind of funny, isn't it? |
